CMOS Digital Design Engineer (m/f)

Position Summary:

Our IC design team at Ubidyne in Ulm, Germany develops high-speed integrated digital and analog/mixed-signal RF circuits and is looking for talented digital design engineer. The successful candidate will be exposed to a broad range of tasks and ideally will be involved in all aspects of design from concept definition and development, circuit design, to post silicon characterization and qualification.

Responsibilities -  Job Description:

• Responsible for all portions of digital design: block definition, RTL coding, verification, test and debug strategy, synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure

• Support for embedding full-custom design in digital flow (e.g. timing characterization of full custom logic blocks)

• Exposure to both medium-size ASIC designs as well as embedded digital designs in full custom ICs

• Top-level mixed-signal validation

• Support post-silicon characterization and debug

Requirements - Desired Experience:

• MSEE/BSEE degree with hands-on experience in digital IC design

• Good understanding of (or willingness to learn) Cadence Encounter design flow

• Verilog coding experience is required, VHDL is a plus

• Fluent English, both oral and written, is a requirement

• Experience in one or more of following is a plus:

- Verilog-A/AMS

- Matlab

- Signal processing
