Ken Hawk, CEO
Ken is a successful entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience building businesses related to mobile computing, wireless communications, software and semiconductors. Prior to Ubidyne, Ken was CEO of NemeriX SA (Acquired by Qualcomm), where his team set the world record for low power GPS chipsets. Ken also founded iGo, an electronic device accessory firm, and led the company through seven consecutive years of more than 100% annual sales growth. iGo completed a successful NASDAQ IPO in 1999 and was later sold to Mobility Electronics. Ken’s high-tech career also includes senior management positions at Venture Manufacturing Singapore (IPO on the SESDAQ in 1992), and Silicon Systems, Inc., the market leader in disk drive semiconductors (acquired by TDK). He recently served on the advisory boards of Transactional Smartware (successfully sold to Commercialware in 2002) and Artis Systems, Inc. (Acquired by Marposs in 2008). Ken earned an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Mike Levis, COO
Mr. Levis brings 25 years of technology marketing and operations experience to the Ubidyne team. He has extensive experience in product and corporate brand development, new product introductions and corporate product strategy. His most recent post prior to joining the company was as Executive VP of Xignal Technologies AG, where he was responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing, engineering and operations. Prior to Xignal, Mr. Levis was Vice President of Marketing for Xicor where he was instrumental in transforming the company from a memory supplier to an innovative mixed-signal IC company. (Xicor was sold to Intersil in 2004). Before working at Xicor, Mr. Levis was Director of Marketing at Samsung Semiconductor Inc., Founder and VP of Marketing at Crosspoint Solutions (an FPGA start-up) and a Partner at ASCII Ventures. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BSEE from Purdue.

Param Singh, Chief Financial Officer
Param is a successful finance and operations executive with extensive experience in the technology industry with both Fortune 100 and high growth, VC backed companies. Prior to joining Ubidyne, Param was COO and CFO at Jentro Technologies where he was responsible for all operations of the company and led the restructuring to significantly improve both top and bottom line performance. He also played a major role in securing VC funding for the company. Previously, Param served as Vice President of Finance and Strategy for Destinator Technologies (sold to Intrinsyc Software, listed on TSX) where he was responsible for the financial operations, strategic planning, commercial and corporate development of the company. During his time at Destinator, he was instrumental in raising more than $22 million in funding and in setting up the company for trade sale. In the past, Param has also worked as strategy consultant and senior executive at IBM, Hewlett-Packard (EMEA), SAB Infotech & Career Solutions Inc. Param has a degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering and an MBA in International Management and Strategy from Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology (Germany). |

Dr. Lothar Schmidt, VP Engineering
Lothar has extensive experience in integrated circuit definition and design specifically for applications in the Gb/s and GHz range. Prior to joining Ubidyne, Lothar was a Design Manager at Texas Instruments in Hannover, Germany and later a Senior Systems Engineer at Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX, responsible for systems and product definition for the physical media devices product line. Lothar was the Design Director at the Maxim Design Center Hannover, where he managed the development of integrated circuits for fiber optics applications and was co-founder of HiSys GmbH, a company offering design services for high-speed integrated system solutions. Lothar managed and grew HiSys GmbH until it was successfully sold to Maxim in 1999.
Lothar earned a Dipl.-Ing. and a Dr.-Ing. degree from the Ruhr-University Bochum and has published 11 technical papers and holds 7 patents. |

Kent Heath, VP Marketing & Business Development
Kent has more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and has extensive experience in Wireless including Engineering, Marketing, and Business Management roles. Prior to joining Ubidyne, he was a Senior Director at Freescale Semiconductor responsible for RF Transceivers, Power Amplifiers and Power Management product within Freescale’s $1 billion Radio Product Division. Prior to Freescale, Kent was the Executive Director of Marketing for Skyworks Solutions/Conexant where he managed the financial performance of Skyworks’ $300 million, 200 person, Wireless Power Amplifier (PA) business unit, and was responsible for Strategic Marketing, Product Marketing, Program Management, Applications Engineering and Business Planning activities. His previous experience also includes senior management positions at Motorola and Genisco Technology Corporation. Kent earned an MBA and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. |

Jude Shao, China Country Manager
Jude is responsible for expanding Ubidyne’s presence in China with the OEMs like Huawei and ZTE, and supporting the country’s mobile operators including China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom. Jude has a deep understanding of the Chinese market with considerable experience in registering and forming companies, strategic planning and implementation as well as international trade and import and export execution. Prior to joining Ubidyne, Jude was a financial consultant providing equity research on U.S. listed Chinese companies in China for financial institutions in the U.S. He was also the Founder and CEO of China Business Ventures, Inc., a successful trading company that specialized in exporting American medical devices and equipment to hospitals in China. Jude earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, an MBA from Stanford Business School and studied law at the UH School of Law. |
